Living in paradise

The last few days has been phenomenal. Very little wind, no waves, great visibility and lots of dolphins. There were also a lot of people on SUPs and canoes and the dolphins were putting up a show right in front of them.

To do our bit for Hout Bay, Camilla and I did a beach patrol yesterday. The patrols are divided into two hour slots, and we took the 12-14h00 shift. The beach was busy but not too crowded, and fortunately everyone was behaving themselves. We had to wear funky yellow bibs to be VERY visible. Even though it was during the hottest part of the day, there was a slight breeze from the ocean that made it bearable.

And we rewarded ourselves with a second swim for the day after.
