Diamond Full Moon

This morning we could still see the full moon as we were swimming, it only set after our swim. I also feel it is rather special to swim with the moon watching us. The waves were rather big, with some swimmers opting to not swim, so it was not the nicest swim ever.

According to the Centre for Astronomical Heritage, in South Africa we call the first full moon of April, the Diamond Full moon. Link here

I figured it's time for ChatGPT to do some writing again...

Title: Diamond Moon

From Cape Town's peaks to Limpopo's trees,

It casts a calm upon the seas,

A beacon for the lion’s roar,

A watchful eye on every shore.

No diamond mined from deep below

Can match that moon’s eternal glow—

For when it shines on South’s fair land,

It turns the earth to something grand.
