December musings

The other day on Facebook a memory came up of a blog I wrote about 2 years ago, so it feels like a good time for some reflection on the blog. This could have been an instragram page, and perhaps it would have been visually more interesting. But for some reason the thought of a blog appealed, and it has afforded me the ability to sometimes post links, and write a little bit more. If anything I have just not optimised the choice of opting for the blog. Maybe next year....

But we've formed a little community, and our 'international swimmers' has arrived for their December and January swimming, and the blog is a little a bit of a thread that loosely ties us together with some memories and cool stories!

This week has been very kelpie and I suppose we can't complain because we've had such awesome weather and the ocean has been amazing, until this week! But the water temperature has been great. This morning there were some dolphins again, and it is amazing how close to humans they venture. Not sure if that is a good or a bad thing.
