Cyclones, spring tides and full moons

A weather warning was issued as inclement sea conditions are expected with Cyclone Dikeledi passing next to South Africa, the Spring tide and Full moon. The sea actually looked okay this morning, but as we entered we could feel the energy, and the waves were a bit deceiving in size.

We stayed in the shallow waters, but still one of our group wearing a mask and snorkel lost her mask when a sneaky wave crept up on us.
