Trying to look calm Today's post is something slightly different. For most of the 'noughties' I worked in pre-hospital emergency care - as flight medic on helicopters, doing mountain and sea rescue, working at sea, first on Cruise Ships and later on the Oil Rigs. Yesterday the waves were big and noisy, and somehow today the conditions were perfect. This picture was taken just before 7 and you can see that the sun is coming up a little bit later from beyond the mountain - hence the shadow. Seasons are changing... I've been very slow to write this year thus far, partially because I don't always have a my phone with me to take pictures. But will try and be a bit more consistent again!

We are flying through January, the classic Latin being 'Tempus Fugit' meaning that time flees. I've been working on a photo book for the swimrisers, that will have some pictures taken over the years, and selecting a nice mix has been quite a task! At least with the blog I have the dates and years of some of the pictures. I suppose this is a good time to mention that part of the reason why I'm capturing all the pictures is because I am not planning on renewing the subscription
